Augsburg’s main train station in southern Germany was evacuated and rail services suspended on Wednesday after an explosion in a building passageway and the discovery of another suspicious object nearby, police said. Two passersby, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries in the blast, while several windows were damaged. Police cordoned off the area and launched searches as investigations into the cause of the explosion continued. Officials said the suspicious object found near the station had not exploded. Further details were not immediately available.
