President Trump announced Wednesday that American children will be automatically enrolled in Trump Accounts, government-created investment accounts designed to grow until the child turns 18.
During the Oval Office event, Susan and Michael Dell joined Trump as he outlined the program.
The Dells’ foundation has committed $6.25 billion to support Trump Accounts, including funding intended to expand access for children.
Parents and legal guardians will still need to claim the accounts through the program’s website or mobile app.
