Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other INDIA bloc leaders were detained by Delhi Police after a nine-hour sit-in at Akashvani Bhawan.
The protest began after their march to the Election Commission office was stopped earlier in the day.
The Opposition leaders were demanding a meeting with the Election Commission and the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. They are protesting over alleged irregularities in the revision of electoral rolls.
Rahul Gandhi said the leaders would continue the protest until their concerns were heard.
The sit-in ended after police moved in to clear the protesters from the premises
