At least 111 people are dead after a powerful earthquake struck Colombia early Monday morning, rattling the South American country.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey the 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia and could be felt as far away as Venezuela and Ecuador. The quake comes more than a month after two strong back-to-back earthquakes hit neighboring Venezuela, killing more than 5,000 people and destroying hundreds of buildings.
