Preliminary and bail hearings were held Wednesday for five people charged in connection with an alleged drug ring that authorities say operated out of two off-campus fraternity houses at Penn State. 24-year-old Agostino Abbatiello, who is accused of leading the operation and had been detained in August, was granted bail following Wednesday’s hearing, Philip Masorti, Abbatiello’s attorney said.
