Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 and OpenAI’s GPT 5.6 Sol are causing serious security concerns. A test by Britain AI Security Institute found that Mythos created fake profiles of Github maintenance personnel to try and hack into the developer website and insert malicious code. Mythos did this without specific prompts or instructions, proving that it knows how to catfish people. Similar actions were performed by the GPT-5.6 Sol model. The latest incidents come days after OpenAI models hacked into Hugging Face.
