President Trump got testy with a reporter who questioned his continued defense of GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad featuring Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s estranged mother, whose late husband was indicted on charges of raping Acton when she was 12. The mother, who reportedly fled with her husband before he could face trial, calls Acton a liar in the ad, which Ramaswamy’s campaign spent $4 million to air.
The ad was billed as “terrible” by Ohio Senate candidate Ashley Hinson, in an interview with ABC on Thursday, the same day she appeared with the president on the campaign trail.
