An Australian TV reporter and a bystander rescued a man from a sinking four-wheel drive in Morayfield, Queensland, on October 22. The vehicle stalled while driving through floodwaters, prompting ABC journalist Will Murray and the bystander to swim out and pull the driver to safety moments before the car was completely submerged. About 170 mm of rain had fallen in the town.
