Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now calling for an investigation and prosecution of the anonymous intelligence officers and soldiers featured in the new documentary “NAZA,” accusing the subjects of “(harming) Israel’s diplomatic and security interests.”
Just days earlier, Jacob Soboroff spoke to Oscar-winning director and investigative journalist Yuval Abraham about his film and about the backlash from Netanyahu and the IDF. Earlier this month the IDF called the doc “a distorted, misleading, and disingenuous picture of the IDF’s target planning and striking process,” adding that the IDF is “is bound by and committed to international humanitarian law.”
