A political meeting with a coffee-and-tiramisu twist! Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief C. Joseph Vijay at his residence in Chennai on October 10, followed by a relaxed outing at a nearby café.
The two leaders reportedly discussed politics during an hour-long meeting before stepping out for cappuccino, tiramisu and cookies. The informal interaction comes as the Congress and TVK work together following the Tamil Nadu Assembly election results and the formation of the TVK-led government.
The meeting has drawn attention for both its political significance and the visible camaraderie between the two leaders. What does this interaction signal for the Congress-TVK alliance, Tamil Nadu politics and the Opposition’s wider political strategy?
