Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin defended the ICE agent at a news conference Friday morning. Mullin cited the alleged criminal history of the man who was shot, identified as Oscar Belgal, while discussing sanctuary city policies. Mullin also criticized Mayor Zohran Mamdani for saying the Trump administration was “terrorizing our city.”
