Russia has launched one of its biggest strikes on Ukraine, killing at least 20 people, including three children.
The barrage involved 70 missiles and Shahed drones, targeting energy infrastructure across the country.
Strikes hit areas including Kyiv, Odesa and Kremenchuk, with residential buildings among those damaged.
“The Russians wanted to strike painfully and demonstratively,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
He had warned Ukrainians a day earlier that a major attack was coming.
