Russia changed its story on a Siberian lab worker’s death

A lab worker at an anti-plague facility in Siberia has died, and Russia has given two different accounts of the cause. Early reports said the worker broke a test tube and may have died of pneumonic plague. Russia’s health agency later said the cause was pneumonia of unknown origin.
The U.S. said it is watching closely.
