Footage shows a hooded youth launching a burst of fire at the victim, reportedly causing first-degree burns
French police have arrested a 15-year-old boy after video from the student protests showed a hooded suspect firing a makeshift flamethrower at a woman’s face.
The assault occurred on Friday in Marseille, one of several cities roiled by violent protests that forced the closure of hundreds of schools and led to clashes with police, teachers and firefighters.
