Voters won’t just pick candidates. In many states they’ll amend their own constitutions, on voter ID, abortion, transgender athletes and hunting rights.

The questions arrive in plain English with a yes or no box. Getting one there is expensive, which is why the measures track what advocacy groups are funding more than what voters are asking for.
