At least 16 people, including five police personnel, were killed in a suicide attack in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Police said an explosives-laden car rammed into the outer wall of a police facility in Kohat while people were praying at a mosque inside. Gunmen accompanying the vehicle also opened fire, according to provincial police chief Zulfikar Hameed. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
