VP JD Vance said Monday, that Americans should not be afraid of artificial intelligence, while acknowledging that the technology carries risks.
Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, Vance said the Trump administration wants to regulate AI “smartly” but expressed skepticism about major AI companies asking the government for regulation, calling the approach potentially a “Trojan horse.”
