Kansas Senate candidate slams opponent Sen. Roger Marshall for suing hundreds of patients

A New York Times report reveals Sen. Roger Marshall, R-KS, filed hundreds of debt-collection lawsuits against former patients during his time as an OBGYN. According to the report, Marshall’s office regularly charged patients with an 18 percent annual interest rate. His midterm opponent, Rev. Adam Hamilton, tells Morning Joe it’s a “huge issue” before pointing out Marshall’s attacks on health insurance in Kansas after voting for the so-called “big, beautiful bill” last year.
