Why does Mirzapur: The Movie actually work?
The raw, gritty world, dialogues and humour are back, and Divyenndu as Munna Bhaiya once again steals the show. Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Ravi Kishan also bring strong performances, while the climax delivers the kind of mass moments fans came for.
The biggest issue is the runtime, and some of the story beats feel predictable. But when Mirzapur: The Movie gets going, you remember exactly why this franchise has such a massive fan following.
