A rare total solar eclipse transformed Iceland’s skies as the moon completely covered the sun, briefly plunging parts of the country into darkness. The breathtaking phenomenon was captured from Latrabjarg on August 12, with totality lasting more than two minutes along Iceland’s western coast. The event drew millions of skywatchers across Iceland and northern Spain to witness Western Europe’s first total solar eclipse in 27 years.
