Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury arrived at Parliament with a pair of glasses, using the prop to take a swipe at those she described as “andhbhakts”. Explaining her protest, Chowdhury said the glasses were meant for those who “don’t see” issues such as alleged theft, bridge collapses and the NEET examination controversy, but “only offer praise”. She added that if the problem was cataracts, “we’ll get that treated too.”
